QUALITY ~ We take raw steel, cut, sand/rust it, and then seal it using automotive-grade clear coat. Most metal wall art out there is cut on light, thin steel, but we prefer to make ours from sturdy, high-quality 14g iron. We find that this thickness meets the right balance between durability and appropriate weight for mounting.

FINISH OPTIONS - We only apply real, natural rust to our pieces, and use durable, automotive-grade clear coat, sprayed using a compressor and gun sprayer to finish our pieces. These processes, while somewhat tedious, leave items with beautiful colors and a glossy sheen that's far more resilient than typical store-bought alternatives.
Rust + Clear Coat - After cutting, grinding, and washing, we induce a natural rust to the piece and shoot it with our durable automotive-grade clear coat. Following the overnight drying period of the clear coat process, we paint the under side of the base black and ship it out to you!
Brushed/Silver - After cutting, grinding, and washing, we hand sand/brush the entire piece to give it a consistent, silver finish and then shoot it with our durable automotive-grade clear coat. Following the overnight drying period of clear coat process, we paint the under side of the base black and ship it out to you!
Raw (Ready to Rust) - After cutting, grinding, and washing, we induce a natural rust to the whole piece and ship it to you!

NOTES ABOUT THIS ITEM
*All flat pieces come with holes pre-drilled for easy mounting. Please indicate in the "Message to Seller" section during checkout if you'd like no holes.
*Flat clear coated pieces will be oriented in a right-facing direction (as seen in the photos). Please indicate in the "Message to Seller" section during checkout if you'd like it to face the other direction.
*Measurements are approximations and pieces can sometimes fall slightly inside and outside of those given
*Pieces with brushed finish CAN eventually rust, if displayed outside in the elements. Feel free to reach out for information on how to prevent this.
*Runoff rust from raw/un-coated pieces CAN stain surfaces, if displayed outdoors/in the rain. Feel free to reach out for information on how to prevent this.
